Dancing at Lake Montebello

Dancing at Lake Montebello is a collection of poems that begins at the dawn of the civil rights era, calling up memories of life in Baltimore, the most segregated U.S. Northern city, and moves through the poet's coming of age in the turbulent '60s and '70s.

I had the privilege of working with author Lynne Viti to design Dancing at Lake Montebello. I had the responsibility of designing cover to cover, selecting artwork, typography, and more with reference to Viti’s vision for the book. Dancing at Lake Montebello is now sold on the shelves of Barnes and Noble, Target, and Amazon among other retailers.
